Day #11 - No Ordinary Guest Book

The day of the "satin" guest book is over!  You already have their full name and address.  You sent them a wedding invitation, right?

Couples are opting for more fun and unique ways to capture the "signatures" of their wedding guests.  They are having guests sign artwork they can frame in their new home.  Guest are writing love notes and date night ideas and placing them in keepsake boxes.  And they even signing sports memorabilia and blankets.  However you decide to capture names of you wedding guests have it prominently displayed so not to miss a person.  You'll thank me later...because once that guest book is packed up...you will never look at it again.

Day #10 - Use Those Enagagment Photos

An engagement photo session is almost considered a "must" have.  These are some GREAT photos to add to your wedding collection. This session will allow you and your groom to show your playful side on camera in conjunction with the love you share for one another. Plus, it's an added advantage for your photographer to get familiar with your body language so that he can capture only the best photos of you and your husband on wedding day.

But don't allow those photos to just live in your Dropbox.  Frame and showcase them on wedding day.  Use the photos in-conjunction with the wedding program or with table numbers.  Just another wonderfully way to add personalized touches
to your wedding day.

Will you be shooting an engagement session?  Is here a theme?

Day #8 - Your Married Journey

WISH
Today is a dream realized from years past
The white dress, the wedding cake, the promise of a love that lasts
Today is the beginning of a journey the two of you now share
The vow to love, honor, and cherish now seen in the rings you wear
But tomorrow, tomorrow you will wake as husband and wife
Where the person next to you is yours for life
And so my wish to you both is that when you wake each day
You will turn to each other with the same look you share today.

Day #7 - Real Wedding Jessica and Micah

The DE Team had the honor of being the month-of coordinators for Jessica and Micah this past July 2016.  They held their ceremony and reception at Room 1520 in Chicago, Illinois.  Jessica and Micah left no detail untouched when it came to their platinum, ivory and shades of blue wedding

Thanks to Cocina Fusion Catering, Cage & Aquarium for photography and DJing services, Yum Squared Bakery, AgA Wedding & Event Decor, and Officiant Michael Moody for working with the DE Team to make this wedding fabulous!

Bride wore a gorgeous Winnie Couture gown!

Might be the dopest wedding party photo of the 2016 season!

Day #6 - Don't Forget to Capture This

Ask your photographer to take photos of your invitation suite and day-of stationery items.  These paper goods tend to be forgotten during the hustle and bustle of wedding day.  Pair the wedding invitation with your wedding bands or jewelry to make a statement photo.  Then make sure to includes these type photos within you finished wedding album to complete your love story.

Day #5 - One Forgotten Bridesmaid Duty

For the Bridesmaid - Time and time again I see it ... A stressed bride because one or many of her bridesmaids are not being supportive through the wedding planning process.  As a bridesmaid, you have the choice to accept this role in the bride's wedding or you can be a guest.  But to cause unnecessary drama during what can already be a stressful time in her life is truly unfair.  In addition to the financial obligations, it should be your goal to help the bride throughout the planning process and on wedding day.

Now for the Bride - Not all your friends have to be in line to be a bridesmaid.  It's okay to give them other roles or to have them seated as an honored guest.  Trust me, you'll thank me later.
