Wedding Paper Cone Infatuation

The scrapbooker is coming out in this blog because I love a paper cone!  I'm actually seeing them everywhere for ceremonies, receptions and events.  And what I love most is it's a D.I.Y. project that you can't really mess up :)  Plus, if you need an unique, yet inexpensive idea for decor or to display food items, you can't go wrong with a paper cone.  Check out some of the fun ideas below:

Lovely idea for an outdoor wedding or event!
Paper cones + fresh flowers = make GREAT tree decorations

Create decor idea using paper cones and hydrangea
on the ends of the chairs or pews
Have your guests toss rose petals as you walk down the aisle as husband and wife
Make paper cones from the music sheets of your favorite songs...then add popcorn

Late night snack? Serve the French fries in these cute holders.

Should you like the ideas above and want to try and make some paper cones yourself, I've added a very simple template below.  All you need are scissors, glue, and some fun card stock or paper.

Until next time...WEDologize!

You Can Do All That With Paper? (Day#24)

I'm a complete 100% Pinterest junkie!  Get me the room with padded walls because I need to be committed from social media overload.  But regardless of my love for those pin boards, I'm always astonished by the "pins" of paper items and the uniqueness they bring to a wedding day.  Now if you are a tad bit confused by my statement, go along with me on my quest of all things paper...minus the standards of invitations, programs and escort cards.  I honestly had no clue that paper could do all this!  Oh and I'm in love with the photo above of the napkin rings and simple paper centerpiece!

How about a paper bridal bouquet?
Seriously! To decorate the wedding cake!
Swagged tissue paper used as the backdrop for the bar

Tissue paper pomanders down the aisle
Really? Centerpieces from shredded paper!

Until next time...WEDologize!
