Today's blog is for visual fun. I'll be sharing the professional photos of some of our past bride's wedding shoes. I'm always on the photographer about capturing one of the most photographed wedding accessories in the best light. I love all of these shoes!!! Which are your favs?

Things Couples Tend To Forget
Wedding day is extremely hectic and fast pace...even with a wedding planner on your team :) While planning your fabulous wedding day, there are some things that tend to get left out or go unnoticed until the day you say "I Do". Check out the list below and add these simple tasks to your to-do list or to the to-do list of one of your wedding party members.
- Bring the marriage license to wedding rehearsal. Do not wait until wedding day to reveal this VERY important document to the officiant.
- Make sure to put the final payment and gratuities in sealed envelopes with the vendors name noted.
- If your make-up artist is not staying with you the entire day, make sure to have a small handbag that includes lipstick and/or lip gloss, plus face or translucent powder.
- Bring comfy shoes to change into during the dance portion of the wedding reception. It's better to have them onsite and not need them than to have blisters on your feet.
- Assign someone the task of transporting your wedding gifts home.
- If you have not checked into your wedding night suite prior to the ceremony, make sure to bring your overnight bag to the reception.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Valentine's Day is here! I always get excited about this holiday. Not for all the love, but because my favorite color is red and V-Day showcases the color perfectly!!! Oh and it's also 1 of the 3 biggest days to become engaged. With that said, I'm sharing a little wedding inspiration with you on this LOVE holiday! Enjoy...

Always Fabulous With Glitter!
Today's blog showcases a little bit of wedding inspiration when it comes to using GLITTER! Yep, I always find things are a bit more fabulous when you add - dash - dust - overload on glitter! Enjoy!
...And when the wedding stress gets to you, pour a little glitter into your hand, make a wish, throw it in the air...and walk away :)
Until next time...WEDologize!

Take a Stand on Wedding Day
2012 for Dejanae Events had to be the year of outdoor wedding ceremonies! I'm thankful for the GREAT weather we had each and every wedding we coordinated. But the biggest challenge for most wasn't the weather...but the shoes sinking into the soft soil and running the bride and/or bridesmaids shoe heels. So ask me the question, "how can this be avoided?"
I love this idea I found on Pinterest awhile back. The bridesmaids are standing on "flat" stones just as poised as ever! Oh and if there is any confusion as to wear to stand...follow the stones.
Or consider purchasing what I find to be the most fabulous product on the planet... Sole Mates!!! These fabulous little gems cover the bottom portion of the heel. So now you can stand firm and safely in grass, on uneven pavement, gravel...practically anywhere and they cost as little as $10. Check them out at The SoleMates.
Until...Pin it and WEDologize!

Personalizing The Wedding Day
I think it's so thoughtful and makes a wonderful beginning to one of the most exciting days of your life...when you can personalize an item that your fiancee' will be wearing or carrying as they walk down the aisle. It becomes much more than a keepsake, but a memory that will last a lifetime. Take a glance at some of the ways you can go further in personalizing your wedding day.

...I Found It...You Pin It, Friday!
So today's Pin it Pic isn't necessarily showing the engagement ring and wedding bands, but the way those stones and precious metals are photographed. I wanted to find a picture that embodied the moment, but didn't have the rings place strategically on a bridal bouquet or invitation. I think my quest was conquered with this photo! What do you think? :)
OMG and those shoes by Christian Louboutin are HAUTE!!!
Until next time...PIN IT and WEDologize!

Making An Oscar Statement!
I have met with several potential 2012 and 2013 brides this past week and when I ask the top three vendors they'd like to distribute their money, most have said: (1) venue; (2) photography; and (3) MY WEDDING GOWN. Of course, we all know that the wedding gown is the focal part of the ceremony, but let's not forget the dazzling accessories to accompany this fabric centerpiece.
With the 2012 Oscars now behind us and watching all that glitz and glam walk the red carpet, I'm inspired by statement pieces to accessorize your bridal gown. Check out some of my favs:

Shoes Have Personality, Too (Day#17)
I love those small touches that an excited bride makes to her attire to show off her personality! From the gown, to the veil, to the accessories, to her hair and make-up, everything for her "perfect" day must be flawless. Now being the shoe woman that I am, there is one tiny detail that I'm seeing regularly from these fashionistas - shoe language. I've coined the term simply because brides are adding sayings and phrases to the soles of their wedding shoes. From hand written words with a Sharpie marker to decals purchased from a store or online...I'm simply loving this personal statement! Check out some of the shoe language below:
