Day #22 - Menu Card Formality
I soooo love a menu card to add that additional punch when focusing on the details of a tablescape. Not only does it give your guests the menu at their fingertips, it can also add some additional color to your guest's place-setting. But what do you think of when you see a menu card? The standard is a piece of cardstock with the menu laid out in the following format: courses outlined by number - first, second, etc. or soup, salad, entree, dessert. But how about laying the menu out using one of these different designs.

Day #12 - Gorgeous Place Setting Inspiration
The table setting is just as important as the fabulous centerpiece you place on the reception guest tables. These photographs share some grogeous looks using menu cards napkins, chargers, flatware, stemware, china. Which design will you pull from for your wedding day?

It Is All In The Menu (Day #9)
Placing a menu card at each wedding guest's place setting not only gives details about the meal they will be eating, but it adds decor to the reception table. There are so many fun shapes and fonts to chose from to create a unique design that your guests will notice. And when you are trying to decrease costs and use the venues standard white or ivory linens, adding a colored menu card that resembles your actual wedding invitation will always create that finishing touch. Take a look a the ideas below:

Tablescape Design to Include a Rose
When adding the finishing touches to your tablescape design, don't forget about those WOW Factor elements that can truly make the table sing. Take a look at how we designed this table in the client's red, black and white color scheme - black lamour napkin with a custom designed menu card by CT Designs Inc. sitting on a white 13" white base plate with silver rim. But what I love the most is the lush red rose placed delicately on each napkin. LOVE IT!

...I Found it, You Pin It...Friday!
I'm in love with the color grey...more so than black. So when I stumbled upon this gorgeous place setting, the elegance just made my jaw drop! A smokey grey charger... with a beautiful shantung fabric napkin... on top of the detailed wedding menu... with an ivory peony perched on top is just perfect!

Components of Wedding Stationery
I thought today would be a good time to share the components of wedding stationery. You might not necessarily include all of the elements within your wedding planning due to the budget constructions, but where you can include paper...do so. It truly finishes off a wedding design.
Save The Date Card: Sent AT LEAST 6 months before the wedding to alert guests of your wedding date. It's also useful to put your wedding website link on this card.
Invitation: The official formal announcement of your wedding including the date, time and location of the ceremony.
RSVP Card: The card that accompanies the wedding invitation that guest will return to you stating if they can or cannot attend the ceremony and reception. It is proper to add postage to the RSVP/return envelope.
Reception Card: Alerts guest where the reception is located and the start time. If the reception is located in the same location as the ceremony, it is proper to add "Reception immediately following ceremony" at the bottom of the wedding invitation.
Direction Card: A wonderful gesture to give your wedding guests directions to the ceremony location and to the reception location.
Accommodations Card: The card used to let guests know of your room block(s). This information can easily be added to your wedding website and the card omitted.
Schedule of Activities: Wonderful paper item if you are having pre-wedding activities during the wedding weekend or if you are having a destination wedding.
Ceremony Program: Gives the sequence of events during the actual wedding ceremony.
Escort Card/Place Card: The escort card is given to the wedding guest when they arrive to the reception venue and will let guests know what table they are seated. A place card is a card that is on the table and lets the guest know which chair they are seated.
Table Number: Have the design from your wedding invitation transferred to the table numbers to tie the stationery design all together.
Menu Card: Adds another design element to the tablescape and let's the wedding guest know the food courses.
Favor Tags: These can be an added detail to anything you may be giving to your wedding guests during or at the end of the night.
Thank You Cards: Suggest you order them when you order your invitation suite so that you can send out a thank you card as you receive wedding gifts.

...I Found It, You Pin It...Friday!
I love the GLAMOUR and SEXINESS of the sequin black linens, but what really sends it over the top is the lemon-colored satin napkin! HAUTE with that gorgeous orchid placed perfectly on top with the modern menu peaking out of the napkin. MODERN ELEGANCE at it's BEST!

...I Found It, You Pin It...Friday!
For me, it's not just about this elegant tablescape...lace linens, crystal goblets, fine silver flatware, napkin with rhinestone touches, or rich gold-leafed china...but it's about the silk booklet-style wine and dinner menu at each guests place setting. Now that's a statement piece! WOW Factor at its finest!!!
