Day #1 - Head Table Decor
Head table decor can be the simplest and least expensive decor in your wedding floral budget. Why not re-purpose your bridal bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets??? Add a few glass vases + some floating candles along with the bouquets and watch this main table come to life. I mean think about it, what are you going to do with the bouquets after all the wedding photos anyway :) This will also work perfectly should you decide on a sweetheart table. You'll thank me later when you see the savings.

My Wedding Sequin Obsession!
Right now I'm obsessed with everything that sparkles, especially sequins! Bling hasn't gone anywhere, but the addition of this embellishment into the repertoire makes wedding design even more fun! But please take it easy when adding sequins to your ceremony and/or reception space. Less is truly more when creating :) Check out some of these table inspirations that twinkle:

...I Found It, You Pin It...Friday!
The days of the head table are becoming obsolete and giving way to more modern style tables like the sweetheart table and kings table. But when I saw this head table...I screamed AMAZING-NESS!!! If you are going to have a head table positioned in front of all the guest tables within the reception space...go BIG, BOLD, BLING, LAVISH and LUSH!!! I just adore the BLING belt running across the front of this stunning head table! WOW FACTOR!

Name That Reception Table
There is no hard fast rule on how you should seat yourselves and the wedding party during the reception. Below are some suggestions of the most popular styles for seating the guests of honor during dinner. But note, once the party gets started...the seats are left pretty much empty.
Traditional Head Table - Two-three 8-foot tables (or more depending on the size of the wedding party) are positioned together to create a long, straight line. The wedding party will sit on one side of the table with the bride and groom in the middle overlooking the invited guests.
Family Table - This table is traditionally round and positioned among the guest tables to avoid feeling awkward and away from guests.
King's Table - Consists of square tables, similarly positioned like the "alternative head table" with bridal party members on both sides. But the bride and groom actually sit at the head of the table like a king and queen holding court.
Sweetheart Table - A square, round or serpentine table that seats only the bride and groom. This has become the most popular seating arrangement at the reception for the newlyweds. It allows the bridal party members to be seated with their invited guest.

To Have and To Hold Your Bouquet (Day#3)
Most of the wedding ceremony you will be holding your beautiful bouquet, but what happens to it once all the photos are done and the reception begins? I mean it is a costly piece and you don't want to have it laying around all night. Assign it a task as well.
Have a vase at your sweetheart or head table with just a little water at the bottom to cover the stems. Place your bouquet in the vase and watch it double as a beautiful table centerpiece. You could also consider placing your wedding bouquet on the cake table or dessert table should you already have a head table arrangement. And should you really want to make a dramatic statement, have vases for your bridesmaids scattered on the head table for their bouquets.
